The Sea Island cotton really does feel like cashmere against my skin, which I wasn't expecting from a basic long-sleeve tee. Wore it under a jacket all day and it never bunched up or got scratchy.
I was skeptical about the price until I put it on — this long-sleeve is genuinely the softest shirt I own, closer to cashmere than cotton. The black has stayed deep after several washes too.
I've washed this long-sleeve tee maybe ten times now and the Sea Island cotton hasn't pilled or lost its softness at all. The black melange has this subtle depth to it that plain black shirts just don't have.
